Twelve of the sixteen participating teams won 20 or more games with eight of those teams winning 25 or more games. The 14 schools listed below combined for a total of 340 games won with 84 losses for a .794 winning percent. For the second year in a row at least two (2) teams won State Championships and two (2) teams were State Runner-ups. Also included in the tournament field were four (4) teams that made it to the Final Four of their state playoffs.

Pinewood Prep School (Summerville, SC): 26-4, SCISA Class 3A State Champion

Archbishop Mitty High School (San Jose, CA): 29-6, California Division II State Runner-Up, Ranked 42nd nationally by Student Sports Basketball “Fab 50” Poll

Hammond School (Columbia, SC): 22-7, SCISA Class 3A State Runner-Up

Charlotte Christian School (Charlotte, NC): 27-4, NCISAA Class 3A Final Four

John Carroll School (Bel Air, MD): 28-8, Final Four of MIAA Class “B” Playoffs

Jean Ribault High School (Jacksonville, FL): 20-9, Florida Class 3A Final Four

Dunwoody High School (Dunwoody, GA): 27-4, Elite 8 of Georgia Class 3A Playoffs

Meadowcreek High School (Norcross, GA): 26-3, lost to eventual Georgia Class 5A State Champion Norcross High in 2nd Round of Playoffs

Irmo High School (Columbia, SC): 23-5, Quarter-finals of SC Class 4A Playoffs
