Congratulations to all teams who participated in the 2010 Chick-fil-A Classic!!!!
Twelve of the sixteen participating teams won 21 or more games this season. FIVE of these teams won State Championships and three finished as State Runners-Up! This translates into half the tournament field either won a state championship or finished as state runner-up.
Irmo High School (Columbia SC): 27-3 record. SCHSL Class 4A State Champions.
W.J Keenan High School (Columbia SC): 26-3 record. SCHSL Class 2A State Champions for 2nd year in a row.
Grace Prep Academy (Arlington TX): 30-6 record. TAPPS Class 4A State Champions.
Benedictine High School (Richmond VA): 27-5 record. VISAA Division I State Champions.
Norcross High School (Norcross GA): 24-9 record. GHSA Class 5A State Champions.
Rockdale County High School (Conyers GA): 26-6 record. GHSA Class 4A State Runners-Up.
Charlotte Christian School (Charlotte NC): 27-6 record. NCISAA Class 3A State Runners-Up.
United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte NC): 31-7 record. NCISAA Class 1A State Runners-Up.

Congratulations to Michael Gbinjie of Benedictine High School (Richmond VA) for being selected to participate
in the Jordan Brand All-American game. Michael has signed to play basketball next year at Duke University.
Congratulations to Isaiah Austin of Grace Prep (Arlington TX)! Isaiah had the Chick-fil-A Classic’s first triple-double game on December 22, 2010. Against Lower Richland High School (Hopkins SC), the 6’11 junior had 15 points, 10 rebounds and 11 blocked shots.

Rated #3 Best High School Tournament - 2010-11
The Chick-Fil-A Classic has grown tremendously since it began in 2002. After nine years of showcasing nationally ranked high school talent, MaxPreps.com has ranked the tournament #3 in the country. This is a great achievement considering the other tournaments have been around for many years.
This year's tournament will be no different, featuring 13 nationally ranked players. Participating teams have a winning percentage of 78% with three state champions. Click here to see a PDF version of the article.

Eleven of the sixteen teams who participated in the 2009 Chick-fil-A Classic won 21 or more games. Three of these teams won State Championships and three finished as State Runners-Up! The eleven teams listed below had a combined winning record of 273 wins and only 57 losses for a .827 winning percent
Christ School (Asheville, NC) 37-2 record. NCISAA Class 3A State Champions for fourth year in a row. Finished year ranked in the top 20 nationally.

Three teams from this year’s tournament field won state championships. They were Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA), Christ School (Asheville, NC) and Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC). Altogether, ten of the sixteen participating teams won 21 or more games during their seasons. These ten teams total combined record was 253 wins and only 50 losses for a winning percentage of 0.835.

Twelve of the sixteen participating teams won 20 or more games with eight of those teams winning 25 or more games. The 14 schools listed below combined for a total of 340 games won with 84 losses for a .794 winning percent. For the second year in a row at least two (2) teams won State Championships and two (2) teams were State Runner-ups. Also included in the tournament field were four (4) teams that made it to the Final Four of their state playoffs.
