Classic I Championship - United Faith Christian Academy (NC)
The Falcons of United Faith Christian Academy (11-3) were too much for the Raiders of W.J. Keenan High School
(7-2) on this night and won by a score of 75-57.
The Raiders were attempting to make a sweep for teams from South Carolina after Irmo High School defeated
Memphis Central in the Classic II Championship game, but it was not to be. The Falcons jumped out to a
quick 12-3 lead to open the game and led 35-25 at the half. Only once during the second half was Keenan
able to cut the lead to single digits (41-32). The Falcons had 3 players score in double figures.
Bracket Most Outstanding Player Paris Roberts-Cambell (East Carolina signee) scored 17 of his 20 points in
the first half including four 3-pointers to help United Faith take charge of the game.
Junior point guard Braxton Ogbueze took over for Roberts-Cambell in the second half as he scored 19 of his
game high 25 points to keep the Raiders at bay and earn himself all-tournament honors.
Peter Jurkin, a 7-foot junior committed to Indiana added 12 points to go with 12 rebounds for the Falcons.
Keenan’s Quinton Johnson paced the Raiders attack with 19 points and was selected to the all-tournament team.

Classic II Championship - Irmo HIgh School
(SC)
The Yellow Jackets of Irmo High School (7-1) claimed the Classic II Bracket Championship with a
56-50 victory over the Warriors of Central High School (Memphis, TN). After leading at halftime 31-25 and
by as much as ten points in the second half, the Yellow Jackets withstood a late comeback by Central who
pulled within 3 points at 51-48 with 3:22 remaining. The Warriors had a chance to tie, but Joshua Jones
3-pointer attempt missed. On Irmo’s next possession, all-tournament selectee Jordan Roper hit a jumper to
increase the lead and the Yellow Jackets sealed the game at the foul line. Irmo became the first Midlands
area team to bring home a Classic title since 2004.
Memphis Central’s Jarnell Stokes was named as the Classic II Most Outstanding Player.
Stokes averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds for the tournament.
