Game 3 Summary

The John Carroll School from Bel Air, Md., defeated local team The Hammond School 44-30 in the first game Wednesday of the 2006 Chick-fil-A Classic basketball tournament.

Isaiah Philmore scored 20 points (8-for-10) and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the Patriots.

The Skyhawks were led by Daniel Bailey, who contributed 7 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.

John Carroll advances in the Classic II Tournament bracket to play Horizon High (San Diego, Calif.) at 4 p.m. Thursday. Hammond faces Ridge View at 10 a.m. Thursday.
