Visiting Saint Anthony crushes Keenan

 

Saint Anthony (N.J.) High School cruised to a 76-35 victory in its opening game of the 2005 Chick-fil-A Classic against W.J. Keenan High of Columbia.

 

The Friars, coached for 33 years by the legendary Bob Hurley, had a balanced scoring attack led by Michael Rosario’s 14. Travon Woodall and Miles Beatty each added 12. Four others had eight or more points.

 

Saint Anthony, with 18 turnovers, forced Keenan to turn the ball over 34 times.

 

The Raiders’ leading scorer was Brandon Woodard with 10.

 

Saint Anthony’s next game is at 9 p.m. Thursday against the winner of the Wednesday game between Winter Park (FL) and Norcross (GA). Keenan plays at 2:40 p.m. Thursday against the Winter Park-Norcross loser.
