Game 13 Summary

Horizon (Calif.) beat John Carroll (Md.) 57-55 Thursday to advance to the championship game of the Chick-fil-A Classic's Classic II Tournament bracket. Marquise Carter was fouled with less than 2 seconds left in the second overtime, hitting the two game-winning free throws.

Carter finished with 26 points for the Panthers, while teammate Jeff Withey just missed a triple-double with 12 points, 14 rebounds and 9 blocked shots.

Josh Selby scored 22 to lead the Patriots, while Isaiah Philmore added 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Horizon (9-1) plays Charlotte Christian at 6:30 p.m. Friday for the Classic II bracket title. John Carroll (10-2) plays in the third-place game against host school Richland Northeast at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
