Bahamas team gets second win in final contest

Tabernacle Baptist Academy finished with a winning record in the 2005 Chick-fil-A Classic after defeating Bethune-Bowman 64-41 Friday.

The Falcons (Freeport, Bahamas) were 2-1 in the tournament and won Friday behind 18 points from Dynile Forbes. Teammates Kyle Grant and Raymond Higgs scored 11 each.

The Mohawks (Rowesville, SC) were unable to capture a win in this year’s tourney. Friday’s leaders included Jamar Busby with 11 points and Brent Valentine with seven points and 11 rebounds.

Tabernacle Baptist is 13-6 in 2005. Bethune-Bowman is 2-5.
