Charlotte Christian moves into finals

Charlotte Christian School used a solid shooting night to topple Dunwoody High 80-68 and advance to the Classic I title game of the Chick-fil-A Classic.

The Knights (Charlotte, NC) made 24 of 46 field goals (52.2 percent). Omar Carter scored 23 points and had 12 rebounds in the win. Teammate Damier Pitts added 18.

Kierre Jordan had 23 points and five steals in a losing effort for the Wildcats (Atlanta, GA).

Charlotte Christian plays Norcross (GA) for the Classic I bracket championship at 9 p.m. Friday. Dunwoody will battle Saint Anthony (NJ) for third place in the bracket at 5 p.m. Friday.
