Emerson Phillips brings nine years of professional play-by-play experience to the Chick-fil-A Classic.  He’s set to enter his fifth season as a radio play-by-play announcer in the ArenaFootball2 League, and he’s currently the play-by-play voice of the AF2’s Cape Fear Wildcats in Fayetteville, NC.  This year Phillips has worked Gardner-Webb University football and Atlantic Coast Conference baseball on the N.C. State Wolfpack Radio Network.  He remains the radio voice of Lugoff-Elgin High School at WPUB-FM in Camden, SC where he began his career in 1995.  He’s called five S.C. high school football state championship games, including the 2002 Class AAA title game for the South Carolina News Network.  He also works as the television host of “On the Sidelines”, a weekly high school sports show on Richland One TV.  Phillips resides in Columbia and is an alumnus of Dreher High School and the University of South Carolina.

Stacey Hough enters his second season as a color analyst for the Chick-fil-A Classic Radio Network. For the past two years, has provided Columbia one of the most informative and comprehensive sports shows on the airwaves. “In the Zone” airs weekday evenings at 6:30pm on WGCV 620AM.

“The Huffster” worked the 2002-2003 season as a color analyst for the High School Basketball Game of the Week on WCEO AM840 in Columbia, where he’s also the play-by-play voice of Columbia’s only weekly high school football game coverage.

Stacey remains active in his community as a volunteer and former board member with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Columbia. He’s also a board member for The Black Alumni Council, a division of University of South Carolina’s Alumni Association.
